Welcome
to the
holidays!

Your listings have been placed on Amazon with care, hoping that holiday buyers will soon be there.

Here's how FBA can help you stay successful through the rest of the holiday season:

Mark your calendar for key shopping days

Download our 2015 FBA Holiday Calendar—now also available for the Amazon.ca marketplace—to help guide your decisions on when to send new shipments or inventory replenishments to Amazon fulfillment centers.

Don't forget to replenish your stock for any expected sales bump in the New Year. January is a busy time for returns and exchanges, as well as for shoppers who have gift cards to redeem.

Be sure to allow ample time for supplier or carrier lead times, as well. It may take longer to get inventory to Amazon fulfillment centers during the busy holiday season.

Note: Date recommendations are based on estimates and subject to change.

Extended holiday-returns window now open

When you sell a product with FBA, Amazon's Returns Policies determine whether or not the item is eligible for return. Typically, the returns window for an item is 30 days. During the holidays, the returns window is extended to encourage more purchases from your customers.

FBA items shipped by Amazon between November 1, 2015, and December 31, 2015, may be returned by customers until January 31, 2016, for a full refund, as determined by the returns guidelines in Amazon's Returns Policies.

Items that you fulfill and ship are subject to the Amazon Holiday Return Policy unless otherwise stated in your individual return policy.

3 tips to ensure you’re shipping the right box

This time of year, when time is certainly of the essence, it’s important to confirm that your shipment boxes meet requirements to ensure proper routing.

  1. For small parcel delivery shipments, boxes must not exceed 25 inches on any side.
  2. A shipment box may exceed the maximum box size if the box contains a single oversize item.
  3. Labels must be visible and ready to be scanned. Check out our shipment label requirements for more information.

For more information, download a checklist of shipping requirements.
