Watch Warranties: Frequently Asked Questions
Why do some watches include a manufacturer's warranty and some do not?
All watches sold on Amazon.com come with a warranty. To provide customers with the broadest possible selection, Amazon offers watches that are sourced through multiple distribution channels, and some manufacturers may not honor the manufacturer's warranty for watches sourced through certain channels. For New condition watches that do not come with a manufacturer's warranty, customers will receive a two-year limited Amazon warranty, provided by Asurion, LLC. For watches designated as Certified Pre-owned and sold by sellers authorized to sell Certified Pre-owned watches on Amazon, customers will receive a one-year limited warranty, provided by WatchFacts.
What is a manufacturer warranty?
A manufacturer warranty is a warranty offered by the manufacturer and under which, the manufacturer is responsible for servicing the watch.
What does a warranty cover?
Each warranty is different, and warranties vary based on, among other things, length of coverage and available services. To learn more about a warranty for a particular watch, click on the "warranty" link on the product detail page.
If a watch comes with an Amazon warranty, does it also come with a manufacturer warranty?
A watch sold with an Amazon warranty (which is provided by Asurion, LLC or WatchFacts, LLC) typically does not include a manufacturer warranty.
Will a manufacturer service a watch that comes with an Amazon warranty?
Some manufacturers may service watches without manufacturer warranties, typically for an additional fee. The Amazon warranty that comes with New condition watches covers services provided by Asurion, LLC. Certified Pre-owned watches come with a one-year limited warranty provided by WatchFacts, and this warranty covers only services provided by WatchFacts.
